A word about my personal style...

Aka 'jeans & a t-shirt' with a side of 'Letterman on Vacation'

I’ve always liked clothes. My earliest memories involve dressing up for whatever sport was being played in the backyard or as a full-on cowboy to ride my horse, Mocha Chip (yes, that’s real). Then, on my first day of middle school, I remember showing up in sweatpants, only to realize everyone else was wearing JEANS! I was clearly out of the loop, and it was obvious that everyone else had spent the summer shopping at the Gap. That moment stuck with me, and ever since, I’ve made it a point—sometimes to a fault—to know the dress code for any situation I walk into.

Since I began my music career, my default choice in clothes has remained fairly consistent- sticking close to home with some variation of ‘jeans & t shirt’. But one thing that hasn't changed is my love for putting on a costume. Whether that means dressing up in a suit and tie when the occasion calls for it, or creatively mix & matching things in my closet that I haven’t tried together that may look interesting or unique.

I call the resulting look “David Letterman on Vacation”—like, "I’m done trying to match or look polished. What you see is what you get." Have I ever actually seen a picture of Letterman on vacation? Not really. But the image is crystal clear in my mind.
