Still Cool is about a severed friendship- something that doesn’t get written or talked about that much compared to severed romantic relationships, but man- they can be every bit as sad and painful.

Dynamics change and people grow or they don’t and it’s sad when someone that you once shared much in common with feels like a stranger. ‘Still Cool’ wrestles with what my part in that dynamic might have been and whether or not theres anything salvageable in the relationship or if distance is something I just need to start getting used to.
